January 2025 Preview Release
Changes went to production on January 29 2025
Variants - Pricing Support
Variants within the AI Commerce Catalog has been expanded to include support for pricing, allowing you to assign individual prices to your variants.
This allows Threekit to better reflect what actually matters to your Catalog and in the future will allow AI to be aware of the cost of your variants, leading to more accurate and price aware Discovery results.
Individual currencies are allowed for each variant to reflect the differences in local pricing and to give flexibility in how you display prices for different regions.
AI Visual Discovery - Natural Language Moderation
Moderation powered by Natural Language Processing has been added to AI Discovery, helping interpret the intent behind queries and flagging any inappropriate content that may be inputted. This gives us flexibility in moderating what is appropriate and not without having to rely on hardcoded values.

Asset Studio - Interactive Drag enhancements
The selection and dragging within 3D Interactive experiences has been improved to allow for better user experiences viewing your products
Simple Drag mode
A Simple Drag mode has been included that allows for items to be manipulated before they're selected. Leads to a more intuitive experience when interacting with items, especially for mobile.

On Hover Highlight
When using a mouse to interact with items the ability to highlight objects has been added, giving users the ability to know which items are available to be interacted with.

Asset Studio - Mobile texture optimization support
Automatic Texture resizing has been expanded to allow for more flexibility across desktop and mobile experiences.
Now a separate resolution can be set for mobile experiences allowing for lower resolution versions of textures to be used making the experience run significantly smoother.
