2025.18.0 - September 24 2025 Preview Release

Changes are scheduled to go to production on October 1 2025

New Features

The Catalog 2.0 workflow has been improved with the addition of a couple new features:

  1. The Catalog Import from CSV feature has been improved to allow users to include Variant file content as part of the CSV import process. On the Column Selection page you now have the option to define the column type as Variant Content, and choose to have the files specified in the CSV as either a URL or as file names from an uploaded zip file.

  2. You also have the option to export the variant content data as a CSV table for a given item, from the Variant Manager. This allows you to edit it in a spreadsheet editor in bulk more easily. To re-upload it (in order to update the item variant data on the platform with the changes you made) you can use the Import CSV button on that same item again.

Improvements & Bug Fixes

  • Fixed the "Running" status of job tasks, where tasks that were in the middle of the "Running" state incorrectly displayed a "Pending" status instead.

  • Fixed a regression with the AR exports to Android, where the end result looked incorrect due to a recent change in Google's AR viewer architecture. We've adjusted the AR exports to compensate for the new limitations of Google's AR viewer.

  • Fixed an issue related to Vray renders in Preview that resulted in errors due to connections with the Licensing Server.

  • Fixed an issue with the player display getting corrected to a Gamma of 2.0 instead of sRGB. The fix involves adding a new global setting under the Org Settings -> Player Settings for the display Gamma, letting users continue to use the old 2.0 gamma for backwards compatibility, in addition to choosing sRGB going forward as the default for new orgs. Scenes have also received this setting in the Scene Settings, to allow users to locally override the global setting.

  • The prompt character limit for the AI Discovery feature has been increased from 5k to 10k max characters.
